About Author Carly Barone

Hello everyone!  I'm Carly Barone, a devoted mother and passionate writer from Missouri. Up until I was 18 years old I lived in Florida. In December of 2008 my family’s world had been shaken by the traumatic brain injury of my nephew Roman, which is what brought my family and I to Missouri. 
I would like to take a moment to share a bit more about myself and the journey that shapes the stories I write and the life I lead. 

As a stay-at-home mom of four incredible kids, two of whom have special needs, my days are filled with both challenges and triumphs. These experiences not only strengthen me but also deeply inspire my writing. I am proud to say that my children are my biggest motivation, pushing me to strive for excellence in every aspect of life, including achieving my dream of becoming a best-selling author.

I've been self-publishing my works, writing stories that often explore themes of resilience, love, and the complexities of family dynamics. My writing is a mirror of my life—rich with stories of overcoming obstacles and celebrating the small victories that often go unnoticed.

Beyond the pages, I have over twenty years of experience as a professional hair braider. This craft has allowed me to connect with many wonderful people and has shown me the beauty of storytelling through the art of hair.I am a lover of books, a traveler at heart, and an advocate for homeschooling, which I passionately provide for two of my children.

Despite facing social anxiety, I find great joy in small gatherings and intimate conversations about life, music, food, and of course, hair.📘 Currently, I'm working on my next book, which is not just a labor of love but also a testament to my dedication to touching hearts through the written word. It's a journey I am eager to share with all of you.
